Hello
What do i do? We're struggeling each month, we're spending more than we earn. Tried to get a loan for 15K to reduce my monthly payments, but just found out that we've been refused. We've reduced our outgoings in other areas, but we're spending £461 p/m on loans and credit cards, and around £1000 on our mortgage. Nationwide won't let us remortgage either, not enough LTV by their valuation service. 4 years fixed with them at the moment.
Loans-
-egg £7000 9.5% £175 p/m
-Nationwide £2600 7.8% £146.76 p/m
Credit cards
-Barclaycard £900 17.9%
-Tesco £2800 0% untill Aug
-MBNA £2700 0% Untill Sept
Overdraft
-£3800
-£700
Mortgage
-180000 (approx 78% LTV)

O.k firstly you need to do an SOA - there's one at what's the cost website I believe which you can post here and people can have a look at your situation.
The good thing is unless that you have been refused a consolidation loan - many, many people on here have tales to tell of how they have had 1,2,3 or more consolidation loans and each time the problem grows and grows and grows. It is rarely the answer.
When you have done a full SOA you will be able to see your true finanical position. This will be really helpful when you have a chat to one of the debt charities about what your options are.
You will probably want to speak to CCCS or National Debtline or your local CAB but people on here will give you as much help as possible.
Be reassured that there are lots of options but you need to do the SOA as a starting point.
