The Argos Board - why and the rules

Getting bargains at Argos has become a single minded pursuit of many MoneySavers. Its seen people from around the country helping each other out. Part of the thrill of the hunt is finding the special Argos catalogue codes for cheap bargains.

As its worked so well, I thought it desevered a chance for a devoted sub-board and here it is.

May I ask that when a new R/O hunt starts - someone notifies the board guides and they can put a dated sticky at the top of main grabbit - so peopel will remember to look.

Also if one of (or a collection of) the Argos regular hunters would like to write a R/O definitions and mini-instructions guide for a sticky at the top - that'd be great

I Bought A Model Make Over In 2006 For My Daughters 16th Birthday. I Phoned To Organise Date. Informed Not Available In Northern Ireland. At The Time Of Purchase I Had Checked And Info In Pack Stated Ni Available. I Went Into Store Had Money Refunded. December 2007 Item In Catalogue Again. I Spoke To The Sales Staff And We Went Through The Pack. Clearly Stated Available In N.i.

When I Complained To Argos They Told Me I Would Have To Give Them The Cat Number. A New Cat Was Out By Now So I Made A Two Mile Journey To Get One. I Opened The New Cat Page No 1160 Item No 024/6716 Clearly States Available In N.i And This Time Also States Roi. So Guess What? No Its Not !!!!!!!argos Have Had My Money For A Long Time.my Daughter Twice Thought She Was Getting A Teenagers Dream Present. The Staff At Argos Would Not Look Up The Cat No I Had To Go Get A Catologue.argos Say Sorry Refund Only No Goodwill Gesture.they Should Book A Place Or Fly Us To One.three Cats Wrong In A Row Is Too Much.
