Waitrose reduced items

If anyone has a Waitrose near them it might be worth popping in on a Wednesday afternoon. Every week they have a recipe by either Delia or Heston and a lot of the ingredients are on offer. They do a changeover on Thursdays so on a Wednesday there are often a lot of the ingredients reduced.

For example last weekend they had whole duck on offer at half price and on Wednesday afternoon they had reduced all the leftover duck (ie near its sell by date) by approximately another third (probably would have been even cheaper just before the shop closed). I picked up one that was nearly 3Kg for £7.03. They often have quite a lot of the ingredients left over. Hope this helps someone.
