Can I still check whether my debts are unenforcable..

Hi,

All of my creditors are now on a payment plan, unfortunately I need to renegotiate with them as my wife has been made redundant.

Is the fact that i've already paid a few payments on a payment plan stop me from going down the enforcable route...

Hi James,

Making payments will have reset the clock on any debts which were not yet Statute Barred, but won't make any which are already Statue Barred enforceable (i.e. where you hadn't made any payments or acknowledged the debt in writing for six years/fice years in Scotland).

It certainly dooesn't stop you doing a CCA request on any credit accounts opened before April 2007.
