It knows all the up to date offers in your local store -

    No it doesn't!

    a) I doesn't know where I live
    b) It doesn't know Tesco sells Stardrops
    c) It doesn't know my local store was selling it's own in store baked bread for 10p per loaf at 7.30pm tonight
    d) It doesn't appear to know my local stores, Somerfield and Morrisons exist.

I always trust my list and it's not ever let me down yet!

Yes, but have you ever gone to tescos for your shopping because it said it was cheaper, then gone to Sainsburys and ASDA just to check?

If you have then you wasted your time on the web site, and if you haven't you don't really know for sure.

theyve got it in my local spar

Spar is not a shop, its a company that robs people who have nowhere else to shop.

I have one across the road from me. I used to use it because their beer was only a couple pence dearer then Somerfield, but they kep thiers in the fridge so it was cold when you bought it.

The prices of the foodstuffs was horrendous, £1.59 for their own brand bread and it was usually best before tomorrow, the day after if you were lucky.

If you wanted Hovis a £2 coin was not enough.

Sigh - you have to type in your postcode - then it knows where you live. ;)

And Somerfield and Morrisons aren't on their databases. You can try and knock it all you like, but it's the best independent supermarket price checker I've ever come across. If you know of a better one, I'm sure me and everyone else would be all ears?? I've done shopping with ASDA and Tesco with it and it's never got a price wrong.

As for oyur store selling bread for 10p, it's hardly going to list that as it's not a stated line. Moneysupermarket takes its priced from the POS prices and for home shopping - not individual prices that someone has stuck on a particularly priced end of shelf life product.

All I can suggest is to look in your local supermarkets, in the cleaning isles - usually on the bottom shelf!

Keep an eye out in hardware sort of store, such as Wilkinsons, maybe B&Q - Woolworths might have been the type of store to sell it, too, but I never looked in there very often. :)
