Credit Card Debt calls

Hi all - getting chased for a credit card debt which I'm still waiting on the PPI to start paying:mad: - I'm now getting about 10-15 calls a day upto 9pm chasing the money from a call centre in India - I dont mind so much during the day but 9pm at night? - is there anything I can do? - I do have the PPI which although I've always paid via MBNA/Virgin but is with a different company altogether (ST Andrews) - oh and I've been out of work since the 26th Feb and they still havent paid out:mad: - had to make 2 small payments since which I shouldnt really have to do, now there starting again - advise would be more than welcome:)

Have you got hold of the PPI company and told them what's going on?

Or contacted your local MP? A good MP will write a letter to the PPI company asking for their side of the story, but also giving yours, and for you to receive your payments. They will also write to credit card co. asking them to stop contacting you whilst they reply to the MP, and again, giving your side of the story. At least this is what happened for the MP I interned for. Find their email address on theyworkyodotcom and email them a synopsis of the problem, and include both companies' details. good luck
