I have a 2 year old and a 6 week old. Recently my kids dad split up with me but still lives in the house. We have a joint name morgage together. neither of us can afford the morgage without the other. Selling will mean we will probs owe the bank money. I would like to keep the house for the kids sake as well as my own, i recieve benefits due to low income. I know if we sell i can get help with renting but renting isnt secure. Would i be able to recieve help with the morgage if he was to leave?
