Financial help with college courses?

Hi all, Ive recently decided I would like to go back to college and study. At the moment I am a stay at home mum with 2 young children - but I would like to have some decent qualifications so that when my children go to school in a few years time I will then be able to get a decent job.
I have decided that I would like to go into accountancy and so I have applied for the level 2 certificate AAT course. After this the plan is to go onto level 3 and level 4. Once qualified at AAT level I would hope to secure a job as an accountancy technician and carry on with the ACCA courses to progress further.
I have been told that at the AAT level courses I would have the tuition fees waived as I am on benefits, however I would need to pay for registration fees etc. These total between £200-£300 a year. Would I be able to get help from somewhere to cover these costs as I really dont see how I will be able to find that spare cash.
Also the ACCA courses cost in the region of £1800 each and there is 4 of them. These I would have to pay for myself, once again is there any help out there that would help me cover these costs?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I do not know about the funding aspect of things but could you not look at getting a part time job to supplment your benefits?
I think but you would have to check that if you work 16 hours or less your benefits are not affected but as I said check on this. The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

well my partner works full time and so the benefits we get are just a top up to his income. He earns about £12000 a year.:j0

dont know if you can but go to the job centre and see if your able to apply for there discretionary funds (sorry bout the spelling if it's wrong). Ive applied for some to help me get to college as my course is £1500. I agree with the others though if you can get a part time job to help pay for it as that may sway the jobcentre to help if u offer sum of the money. I currently work in 3 jobs 2 voluntry and 1 at mcdonalds.0
