Advice Needed! Final Tax Code!

Options
I received my P60, my final tax code is BR.

I'd had my job since Jan 2009, this is my only job.

According to the P60, my earning are £11, 597.78
The tax deducted is £2319.14

Any ideas... ???

Thanks in advance :)

Er ....... tax is spot on for BR!

But - BR is normally used for 2nd jobs / pensions, so why do you consider you're on BR - what have you done about it - and what code are you on 10/11?

If it is your only job and you don't have income from other sources then you should get a personal allowance of 6475 leading to a tax liability of £1,024. (Assuming you are under 65)
If this is the case ring your tax office to get your code sorted and send them your P60 to claim a refund.
