Cahoot - no money taken but credit report says up to date!

I need some advice pls.

When the thing with Santander changing the Cahoot flexible loan all started I was in the middle of changing my bank, so I was switching my DD's.
Some of this I was doing manually - either online or by post.
When the online access for the Cahoot loan was removed I rang them and asked what was going to happen now. As with most people, I was told that I would get statements and payments would be taken as normal.
Then I saw Santander put a new DD on my account, so I promptly deleted it, thus removing their ability to take money from me without notification and, instead, sent them a manual payment (as per the details on the original cahoot website).

I've waited since March for some paperwork from Santander - a statement (ideally showing the manual payment), a letter, anything. I've had absolutely nothing.
With no DD set up, there have been no payments since the March one was due (all the payments not 'taken' are sitting in a savings account waiting). No-one has tried to contact me about this at all.

Getting a bit worried, I checked my credit file last night - Santander are showing the account as being up to date as of 8th May!!

I'm now confused.

They haven't written to me to ask for payment, or to give me a statement of account, yet part of their system seems to think my loan payments are up to date.
(BTW, I have no intention of not paying, I just want confirmation that what I do pay is being applied to my account; but without a statement from them that's kinda hard)

What should I do?
