nice car, though i feel its unfair to make a winner cough up for insurance..
not really a free prize, at end of the day?Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0 -
What more do you want it's a free car you can always sell it if you don't want to pay for insurance.I'll tell you what enter it and if you win i'll take it off your hand..for free of course;)Darren0

Its not common for insurance to be provided with prizes like this. Someone could win and be a high risk insurance-wise and could cost a couple of grand or more on top. You could always get a short term policy and sell the car. :cool:0 -
Just thought I'd point this out, although it's worth the trip for a new car !!

Do you think that it goes against you if you do not live in Scotland. It says in the T&C that you must consent to your name and town being on STV. It would look a bit odd saying Claire Cymru from Cardiff when it is a Scottish Television Company.0

I wouldn't think so, they're a large site with a lot of viewers and should abide by competition laws and their own T&Cs.
I've won off several different sites from around the UK - one of which was a break in Scotland from a radio station in a different area of the UK to where I live.
I enter the Walesonline comps as well and have won one of those too, though admittedly not something as major as a Mini!
