I have a debt problem but I want to avoid an IVA or DMP

Brilliant work for a Friday mate, enjoy the weekend with the kids now you have something ticked off.

I think even if the solicitor did decide that your wife should come off the finance then you would just present the figures and they would beat a sharp retreat, she is jointly responsible and signed up to that effect, if she wants out she will have to pay up herself, if you dont have the money you dont have it, and you are keeping up the payments. In my eyes you have done nothing wrong.

Or you could say to the solicitor "How much is it worth for me to end the agreement?"
