use to live in york if your going in a car make sure you park and ride service. which means you park on the outside of the city and get a bus in only 1.60a day for the car. If park in the centre you pay around 3 pound an hour about 12 pound fo ra day out. I would if your there late enough go on a ghost walk if though its not free and vist the minster too. And also walk all the city walls which is free diffrent parts too it my favorite part is th epart that goes past the deans house and you can see for miles as well. If buget can go that far make you go the York eye. The minster gardens and museums gardens are lovely and free for eating lunch in or just for a walk. Waking along the river bank is also nice which free. I also like bettys tea rooms expensive but lovely.
