brought wrong yeast for break maker, what can I use it for?

Ive brought the yeast thats not suitable for breadmakers :doh:

I thought i would try it but the bread didnt rise very much. :doh:

What can i use this yeast for?

    I did this....... I tried making it throthy before adding it the flour.
    but in the end opted to make a real hand made loaf/rolls to use it up! Nearly all gone now!

    Make some bread by hand is the best way!

    I have used it in the breadmaker, but it was difficult to get the loaves right. You have to mix it per the instructions on the yeast packet before even trying to add it to the BM.

    i done just the same thing. i gave it to my mum as i knew she would use it. i did try it in the bread maker but it didn't work out very well at all.

    how about makeing a german friendship cake
    i think it has flour , eggs apples cinnamon + yeast , you mix it all up let it stand for a few days then bake take 1 cup of the mixture out before you bake it and give it to a friend . it's a chain cake .. much tastier than a letter

    I did the same thing only a couple of weeks ago. Tesco's were more than happy to refund (luckily I hadn't opened!).

    Pizza dough? Not sure if it's the right stuff but I always keep some yeast handy to make pizza when using up vegetables.
