Newbie- Information Overload

Hi, this is only my second post, and I apologise if it's not in the correct place.
I'm loving the website and have come across so much that I didn't know existed, but am a little bit overloaded with information and don't know where to begin.

Basically being a young couple with a mortgage over our heads & three dogs, we are looking to earn any extra we can, find freebies, make savings etc.

I worked in administration for 5 years, but recently quit as it was affecting my health. I'm now working as a cleaner in a local school, which suits me at the moment, as I wish to change career paths completely and work with dogs.
I am hoping to become a Dog Groomer, but need to raise funds for the course (approx £3,000) and then start-up equipment.

My partner is self employed, and works as a Fencing coach, and is currently in voluntary training to become a Cricket Coach.

From this website I have so far come across Tesco Home Panels, Asda Pulse, Boots Evaluation Suite, and have now applied to join those.... may help to give me my shopping fix :D

This afternoon I have been reading about things such a scanning your shopping for rewards, or completing surveys for rewards.
Many companies have been mentioned in the threads, some being invite only etc, and I'm a bit lost on where to start with those??

Today, I have also been having a clear out of all our cds, computer games & books. I plan to put them on some of the sites mentioned, as the boot-sale we were going to have a year ago still hasn't happend!!

We're also offloading one of my OH's motorbikes, and unused bike gear to generate some money...as you can tell, I have been truly inspired by all your posts :A

Are there any other things I can do to help? I am at home majority of the day, have good qualifications, bit of an internet addict...:)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Focus on one thing at a time, else you'll get distracted by everything and do nothing. Start by reading through the ebay boards for lots of help on how to avoid selling mistakes.

There are loads of things you can do, but concentrate on the things you already have to do before finding new ones! You'll end up finding your niche where you put most of your effort and make most of the savings /extra money.

But one thing I will recommend is Quidco...they pay you when you buy things online you were going to buy anyway. Have got £1300 from them in the past 3 years buying insurance and the like.
Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
