    well done on the overpayments so far and remember that by overpaying you could have a " payment holiday" for a few months if you have built up a few thousands pounds in overpayments.
    My lender has told me if I want to have a payment holiday or go interest only for a few months thats no problem because we have overpaid so much.

    Hi Lilium,

    The thing about being an MFW is it is such a long haul process for many of us with large mortgages. That means sometimes circumstances may prevent OPs, but as you say when you talk about getting the bonus, the mentality of being a money saver is there, and it helps you maximise your way of living.
