Hi I am planning on getting a mortgage soon but wondered weather going into my overdraft will affect my credit rating, or is it only if i go over the overdraft limit?

Thanks

If you are constantly in your overdraft, never getting back into credit then this can look like poor money management, equally if you go right up to your limit every month this looks like you are struggling to cope. Both these can affect your ability to get credit but obviously not as much as going over the limit or getting defaults etc.
