Can't get broadband help

I'm thinking of moving to a really delightful cottage but there is one problem. when I go to bt.com it tells me that I can't get broadband so I phoned BT and the women at customer services checked and said its only part of that postcode that couldn't get in. So she put me through to BT Broadband they checked the postcode and no I could defiantly no get it at all at that postcode. I asked if she could check the full address she did and said there was no way of telling only that the people who live there at the monent have dial up.

Help should I just find somewhere else to live?

Does anyone know of a way of checking the full address?

if you ask the people for their phone number and check that - it is more reliable than using the post code.
