hi,
can anyone advice me on the following issue?
i use to work as a part time healthcare support worker until recently (2wks ago) when i eventually got a full time job with the NHS. i urgently need a loan of between £3000-£4000 for a car as i will need to make long journey to and from work and other commitments. the porblem is i am finding hard to get good offers and those offering to give the loan are offering a very high intrest rate and this is so scary. can anyone advice me on the best way to get a cheap and unsecured loan of the above amount?
thanks alot for all advice!

why do you need a £4000 car? why not get a cheaper 2nd hand one?0

You can pick up very decent cars for £1k - £1.5k. No need to spend £3-4k unless it's something you want rather than need.Self confessed nerd when it comes to anything financial and/or numerical! :cool:0

I think £4,000 is a decent amount for a second hand car!
Try Money Supermarket or other comparrison sites. Do nto take the first answer though and place the details back here so others more vigorous than Fred can look and see if it be suitable for you.
Good luck in yers new job0 -
And NEVER give out your bank details to ANYONE, no matter what they say it is for, no matter how GUARANTEED they assure you of the loan.0

Ah the daily need a loan for a car but have a bad credit rating thread.
You do not need a car costing £4,000 and there's doubts as wether or not you can afford to get yourself into a further £4,000 of debt.
This before tax and insurance."An arrogant and self-righteous Guardian reading tvv@t".

Can any one advise me on the following issue.
I am writing on behalf of my mother who is 69, and was sold a loan 10 years ago for £25,000 over a 240 month/ 20 year period plus PPI, Secondly she was mislead in to changing borrowers under the false pretences of that the original loan company had withdrawn from the country, saying do you now where the deeds were, that they would take them abroad and sell them etc. also that she had a minimal time to which to sign as a special offer would finish.
Do i have any legal grounds to over turn this loan? if so how do i go about it,
who do i contact?
Kind regards
Ian Creed0
