Phishing scam- beware emails from 'Kendall Sullivan" < lladenkall gmail.com>

received an email from the above, supposedly about a data entry job - sadly i dont remember where it was advertised, so covering all the bases just in case someone else may get suckered in..

It promises 10% commission for banking cheques from overseas sales agents, and then forwarding money on elsewhere..

THIS IS MONEY LAUNDERING - DO NOT DO IT!

Nope, it's more likely to just be a scam - the cheques will be forgeries or stolen. You will be asked to bank a cheque and send 90% of it's value via Western Union to someone you've never heard of before, keeping 10% as your commission. So you bank the cheque, a few days later the funds appear in your bank account, you assume that means the cheque has cleared so is 'good' and you send the funds via WU, as requested. A few days or weeks later, your bank tells you the cheque is a fake or stolen, and debits the value of the cheque from your account. You are left out of pocket, the scammer has collected the money you sent via WU, and is untraceable.
