Nail Varnish Remover is what my hairdresser told me to use on the bits that she couldnt get off - you have to be a bit careful near your hair line- for obvious reasons, but it really does work !!
GOOD LUCK !!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Toner works well as a remover too.0

Ex hairdresser used to use milk!?!0

I've used nail varnish remover before, it does work but it also really stung so be careful.
If you've dyed any fine hair on your face then use some Bleaching cream like Jolene.
I always end up with parts of my face, ears, neck, shoulders, arms dyed, no matter how much vaseline I use around my hairline. It normally comes off when I'm showing the hairdye out but because I dye my hair black I'm often still left with blue streaks. I just go with it, it fades very quickly and if it doesn't then it doesn't really matter. People might think I have really cool birth marks. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
If you have the dye bottle get some of the dye out of it on some tissue and rub it on it comes off I promise I do it all the time or try wet wipes they normally do the trick too

Milk on cotton wool! It'll take a bit of scrubbing but it won't leave a mark on your face that chemicals can.0

I have this happen everytime I redye my hair!
I have found the following helpful (listed in order of helpfulness):- Parozone wipes (n/b, will need a cleanse afterwards and then apply moisturiser)
- Nail varnish remover- the acetone free stuff seems to sting less! Cleanse with a wipe and moiturise afterwards, redness fades within an hour.
- Colour-Off wipes from Boots (but you need to use these straight away, not wait to go down to boots and then try)
- Eye makeup remover from Clinique (or any of the other two-tone eye makeup removers)
- Oil (as in extra virgin) leave on for a few minutes, rinse off.
- Exfoliant scrub, many times over.
- Having a shower and washing your hair- for some reason works better then washing face over the sink- but I try not to wash my hair for atleast 24 hours after dying it as red fades fast!
