Welcome to the forum, watch out for desperate people creating new user ID's to ramp their investments.
I am sure you can spot them, usually their first post will be asking how they can invest in the ramped product to the OP.
Usually the OP has heavily invested and has got their exit strategy wrong and are despratly trying to offload some stuff on to suckers who also do not realise the implications of investing in metals that have a VAT charge on them.
Hope that helps and enjoy the forum.0 -
what a spamtastic thread0

It doesnt matter if you are novice or expert, prices are the same.
Im not going to give one company because I get accused of all sorts of things.
If you search you will find prices are about the same at all the dealers. At the time of writing the paper price (spot) of silver is about 12.50 oz. But if you want real silver not fools silver (paper promise) the price is about 15 plus VAT.
If you buy or sell silver in the private market (Ebay/gumtree local paper etc) prices are nearer to 20 oz for well recognised bullion like Maple leafs but there is no VAT in the private market.
I can't see how people will pay £20 on ebay when they can buy for about £17 of a bullion dealer? :money:
I wish I could get the stats of people buying these second hand coins etc off ebay. I just can't see the exit strategy if silver prices rise/fall and you are trying to sell these physical coins. VAT is a killer for silver for me.0 -

Haha, the wording sounds almost exactly like a 419 Nigerian scammer!

Sorry - just getting stressed with things.0 -
having done a bit of research on the internet it seems that many experts expect the price of gold to double in the near future. So now does indeed seem to be an excellent time to start collecting gold. good luck everyone0

It's all about timing.
Some are saying within 3 years silver/gold will sky rocket.
Who knows - but history does tend to repeat itself unfortunately we don't know when that is. If we did it wouldn't be half as much fun..:D0
