Just used wax tart from Yankeedoodle candles for first time. Can I reuse this? What is best way to remove from burner? Also, they state that you should use Yankeedoodle tealights to melt the tarts, could i use any make ones instead?

I've got some of these I've not used yet, what sort of burner do you use them in? I'd have thought you could use any (unscented) tealights really, it's only to heat it up isn't it?Everyone I know wants to be a millionaire.

I ordered a glass one from Yankeedoodle candles, think they had lots of ceramic ones as well.Jan Grocery challenge

Lol I'm sure they do recommend their own tealights for the tarts! Totally unnecessary, you can use plain ones.
You can heat the tart over and over until it loses it's scent. I think people throw them away after that, which seems a waste which is why I prefer normal candles personally. I wonder if you could make the leftover tart into a candle?0 -
you can light tealights underneath, until it looses its smell
some scents last longer than others
my favourite, bath bubbles last agesssssssssssss, for roughly 10 tealights, some only last 2 or 3
to remove from the burner when finished
put in the freezer for 15 mins when its set
it will just pop right out
i keep them, and make candles with mine, and i never use their tealights
i use 6-8hr ones i get from my local chinese cash & carry
they have long lasting ones, 99p for 50
they use them in the table food warmers0 -
I find the Yankee wax tarts are good for the duration of three or four tealights in a tart warmer (using cheap supermarket tealights seems fine) before losing their smell. Depends on how strong you like them though of course as they do fade after a while.
When I finally take them out (freezer tip works a treat) my DD likes keeping them to pop in her clothes drawers to make everything smell good!0
