HELP PLEASE with HSBC
Comments
-
I have had yet another couple of letter's from HSBC demanding payment and threatening possible court action etc. They are ignoring ALL the letter's I have sent them stating I cannot pay anymore and to deal with Payplan etc. They have even started to call me at home again.
I'm at wits end about this and feel they are really using the bullying tactics on me. Everyone seems to think my debts will be referred to a debt collection agency and I should just sit tight. Is this the case of should I be doing anything else?
Any help would be gratefully received!0 -

personally i would sit tight, let it go to the DCA, they accepted my payment terms on the first offer, again this was HSBC to metropolitan .. and another one .. although same bank details/address/letter heads just different company name.0 -
Thanks for all your replies on this. I have now had a letter from Metropolitan debt services demanding full payment of one of my debts with HSBC. They have also called me a few times and sent me a text, I have ignored all so far.
I am with payplan and have sent them an email saying Metropolitan have got in touch with me directly and emailed across a scan of the letter they sent. What should I do now, is it best to send Metropolitan a letter directly recorded delivery stating what I can afford to pay each month? Is there a template letter I should use? I have obviously been paying HSBC the amount of £10.79 each month since Dec 2009 which they've been accepting so I don't know why they have forwarded this onto a debt agency.
I can't believe HSBC have done this as I have sent them about 20 letters explaining my situation all of which they have ignored.
Any help would be great as I'm at my wits end!!0
