How Long for a tax refund to come through

Hi
I did my assessment online yesterday and it came up that I was owed £255 tax rebate, It asked for my bank details and when I spoke to someone from the tax office they said that it was done once it was submitted.
Does anyone know how long it will take to go in my account

Last year my SA rebate was in my bank with 7 days.

Mine came through within 7 days.

Mine came through within about a week too. Always nice to get something back from HMRC, even though it was yours in the first place anyway!

Thank you everyone, yes it will be nice and hopefully will get some more from this year in my wages as they have finally sorted my code out, but as you say it was mine in the first place and only gone back part time. My wages were £375 this month and had £75 took off emergency tax
