offset buy-to-let mortgage?

Hi,
I am looking to re-mortgage my home and since I am temporarily letting it to tenants I will need a buy-to-let mortgage. I have previously had an offset mortgage, which I found very useful but I can't seem to find an offset buy-to-let. Does such a thing exist?
Thanks

are you renting elsewhere? can you get consent to lease on residential? BTL mortgages can be expensive - application fees and interest rates. Not heard of BTL offset but not to say they don't do them. Check with broker?0

Yes I am renting in the US at the moment, it will be very frustrating if I have to get a buy-to-let mortgage since I didn't buy the property to let it, I just need to let it for the time being while I am working abroad. Unfortunately being abroad means that it's difficult to see a broker. Do you know of any banks which a open to consenting to lease on residential?

I rented my flat and a house on a consent to lease with Halifax (last time was 3 years ago). Who is your current lender?
Have you tried London and Country? They are a telephone broker so no need to visit them in person. There are other such companies. There is a fact sheet I think on main menu that will tell you more (or used to be!). I don't know where you stand though if you want a new mortgage with consent to lease straightaway - might need to fly back and stay for a week then apply! good luck.0
