Northern Rock Rip Off

36 Months ago I took out a fixed rate personal loan from Northern Rock

I signed the credit agreement and put it in a drawer, I marked the front of the Envelope NORTHERN ROCK LOAN MAY 2010. It has sat in the same drawer ever since (even surviving a house move).

I did NOT tick the box for PPI so it was never added, nor included in my repayments.

Now I have just made my final payment, 36 payments of £213.14 totaling £7673.04 for my £7,000 loan. This is exactly what is written on my agreement.

I feel I have been led up the garden path with these clowns.

1. I have NO PPI to reclaim

2. I have never missed any payments so I did not accrue any charges I can reclaim

3. I kept my copy of the agreement so I can't reclaim anything that way either.

Somebody help me out here, there MUST be something I can reclaim. I don't see why I should be the only one in the UK not able to reclaim something or shout something is unenforceable.

Don't let these Northern Rock monkeys get away with it.!!

    Hi,

Please can you expalin what your gripe is - lots of moaning in the post but no apparant reason for the gripe..... If the only reason for the gripe is the fact you have stuck to ther terms and conditions of your agreement then well done! This board is too full of people who want to borrow but not pay back - at least you have paid it all back before moaning!

I think that is the gripe - it's a tongue in cheek dig at the fact they can't reclaim any money for being "hard done to".

are they Northern? Was a rock involved?

Maybe there is scope to sue based on these misleading terms?

You need to get in touch with Watchdog, the FOs, the MCC, The VSO, MSE, BSE, CDM, your MP, Trading standards, Debt Clearance Ltd, etc, etc. Someone needs to make a stand.

You are Sooo old fashioned R0bert. It's about time you started joining the Real World.

Looks like Northern Rock have left you in a right pickle now with an extra £213.14 left over each Month.
