Hi all
I have been reading through this site for a while and love the great advice, tips and support. This site has really helped me get the strength to try and take control of my debt. Please do send any tips or advice that you have for me.
I had my light bulb moment at the end of July and have made lots of changes to my finances and got a new job. I was really dissapointed to find that when adding up all my debt that i had paid over 5 thousand pounds in interest and am trying to stay positive about the amount that i have to pay back
DEBT:eek:
Debt 1 25,600 loan 8.9%
debt 2 2,400 credit card ( just transferred to new card which has 0% for 8 months but then after 25% )
debt 3 4,140 credit card 13.9 %
MY NEW JOB - Monthly salary will be 1,540
I am little confused with the information from the snowballing link but thought that debt 2 should be the first one i should be paying back so as to avoid the 25% after 8 months - am i right?
Also please could you advice on suggested monthly shopping for two adults?
thank you
