It would be worth looking on the Small Biz board, there's a sticky linking to Martin's article on Business Bank Accounts and a discussion about them.

Not wanting to put you off, but my experience of dealing with the Santander 'family' for personal accounts has not been a happy one, and I'm not alone there!

I wouldn't touch Santander with a barge pole, and that's a polite way of putting it as this forum "bleeps out" any rude words you use.

Eek really, why not? Just poor service? I was going for Santander as they were the top recommended business bank account... I certainly don't want anything that charges fees, he's not making enough to justify that.

NIghtmare to deal with, also they don't show who money is from if you want to use BACS - you probably don't, at least atm, but it's a nightmare for those who do, multiple sets of £5 popping into the account with no indication of who it's from, for example, so you don't know who has NOT paid!
