Hi Just thought you should know I have just bought the above camcorder at Boots.com at the price of £299.99. This sells for £450 at Argos. Basically £150 off.
Plus Double Points which gives you 2399 points AND if you use the following code you get an extra 10% off order over £50. MPDJ98
So in total this has cost me £246 compared to Argos £450.
It seems like a high spec camcorder.

Cheers for this i have been uming and rrring about buying this for weeks now . Can't beat the savings compared to argos. was originally looking when they had the 10% off a few weeks back and i also had an 10% code as well might finally take the plunge and buy this. As it does seem to good to be true.

Yes sorry forgot to mention GreasyPalm, used them also. I am quite happy overall with it especially when you look at the argos catalogue and see how much they want for it and they are usually the cheapest. It is obviously gonna be on the market for sometime as it is in the New Argos Catalogue.
A great buy, I am quite chuffed and this is my first useful post so I am extra happy!!!!!

Don't use Argos as the benchmark for Camcorders as they had the GR-D23 for 100 pounds dearer than most other places.

I just bought the top of the range GR-D93 for 290 pounds from amazon via greasypalm (£281) - always check on pricerunner.co.uk or similar first.

10 60min JVC tapes came in at 18 quid from costco.

As said I wouldnt use Argos as benchmark either, you can get the camcorder for a little over £300 but when you enter code thats what makes the difference.

You enter code ebfore entering credit card details and shipping in the attached box

Just got my camera today, looks small and compact. Shame no DV tape came with it. Have to pop into town and get one later today. Thanks to OP for bargain
