i have the same problem at my local tesco. its a bit of a gamble as to who will take what. i usually try the younger staff at evening times and dont generally get a problem. i just say can you see if you can take these off please. i had a five pound talisker whisky voucher from the somerfield magazine which i used tonite and it was accepted, so i got some more and have had 20 pounds off in total using the whisky coupons. no matter how much i spent.
all we can do is keep trying, some cashiers will some wont take them, just keep them and try another day!!0 -

Asda *do* take internet coupons - at least, mine does!
When I first tried it (I'd phoned the store ahead and asked the Manager their policy re: coupons, internet and otherwise) the young and inexperienced lass wasn't sure. Because I could confidently state that her Manager had told me, blah, blah, blah, she rang the whole bunch through (oopsie, did I forget to tell her about the up to 10%???) Yes, they all went through and I got £12+ off my shopping bill of £62
If in doubt, either:-
phone the shop and ask the Manager
present them anyway - hanging is not longer allowed in this Countrythe very worst they can do is say no.
Unless of course you are already calculating that saving on coupons beforehand, in which case, simply be prepared to put the product back.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Talked to Morrisons. They only take Morrisons coupons and you must be purchasing the food you are using the coupon for. I queried that and said Asda would take anyones, and I was told, in a huffy voice, they are not Asda. I mentioned we don't have any Asda between here and Huntly and was told not their problem. Nice person.Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money but you can't get more time0

I use the self scan checkouts at my local tesco and coupons go through no probs!! Gave up trying to find a cashier that would take them.
My local Asda stopped taking coupons where you hadn't bought the product - brrr0 -
tbh if i was the lady i would be sick of people expecting to be able to use coupons for stuff they arent buying and that arent from the store if their policy is not to accept them. Its nice when stores like Asda do take them from us - but that doesnt mean we should expect it to be the norm in all shops. The norm should be only accepting valid ones and the exception should be those that take anything0
