Confused about ex employer

Hi there, don't know if anyone could help but here goes. I started working for a shop in Manchester at the end of April and only worked there for three weeks full time due to an issue with not being able to do 'overtime'. I informed my new boss on the morning that I got the boot that I didn't have a P45 because my last employer was unable to provide me with one. After hearing this she asked if I had my bank details, I said no but I know all my bank details and had my national insurance card as well as ID. My boss then shrugged it off and said I'll have to do things by post then. Straight away I thought that she would post me forms to fill in. When my brother handed back my uniform he gave them my bank details that I had written down (I had forgotten about my N.I. number). When after a week past without a phone call I thought that everything was ok and they didn't need any more details and that I would be paid on the 28th as I was supposed to. However, when Friday afternoon came and no pay, I called them up only to be told that they would be off until Tuesday.
Is there any reason why they would not pay me the wages that I was supposed to have? I am due to be starting a new job soon and need a P45 so I'm a bit panicked because I am strting to think she might pretend I never worked for them. :( Thank you in advance for any help!

    The bascis are

    1. So you dont have a p45 because the ex employer hasnt provided you with 1, they should provide you with 1.

    2. Your new employer asked about a p45 but as you didnt have 1 you couldnt pass it on.

    3. Pay day which was Friday came and went and you wasnt payed

Only way to find out whats gone on is to call payroll or speak to them on tuesday

Dont panic about not having a P45 for your new employer, all you have to do when you start is inform them that you dont have one and then fill in a p46 form with your new employer. Simple
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
