Hi
I am about to commence DMP with CCCS (first month's payment to them to be made tomorrow). I have been receiving regular phone calls from Capital One on my home phone which have been fielded by OH. The numbers have always been 0114. Today, I have discovered that they have been calling my 2nd phone line at home which I use for my work!! It was an 0800 number and I called it back and it was Capital One's! How did they get the 2nd number? I've never given it to them. Whenever my OH answers, they hang up. How can I stop them?

I have to say I have had a similar thing with MBNA who found out my work and mobile numbers when neither had been given to them by anyone I can identify (have changed offices and have a work mobile i never give to anyone but colleagues and family).

Is this legal though? My 2nd phone number is ex-directory. To be honest, they are beginning to be a bit shirty with my OH. They called my home phone today and asked to speak to me and when asked who is calling, the caller just said, "Well, is she there?". My OH hung up on him for being rude.0
