Bear in mind that not only is the wedding photography market saturated, it's also highly seasonal. If your business takes off, you will NEVER have a summer weekend free again.Signature removed for peace of mind0

Also make sure you have good insurance just in case something goes wrong even if you do it part time or it could cost you a lot, I once had an expensive 3 week old digital SLR break on a wed shoot but luckily I always shoot with two Slr's and have a spare less expensive one in the car.0
