Hi everyone,
Just wondered if anyone could help me with my situation,
basiclly i lost my job at the end of january this year, i signed on and looked high and low for a job, after no luck and running my dads bussiness for the last few years i decided to try open my own business. Money was a major issue after applying for bussiness loans and even grants i got turned down and didnt succeed so i turned to my family for help. as i was on the dole my debts started spiraling out of control, i rang all the usual debt lines but my circumstances changed because i did manage to open a little shop purely with the help of my family so i thought things would get better...little did i know i am now worse off than when i was on benifits, i dont take a wage at all, i am at a loss, i cant ask any more of my family. my debts are getting seriously out of control i cant pay them a penny sometimes i cant afford to eat, ive read about a debt relief order it sounds perfect for me, i have credit cards loans all the usual. the trouble is if i applied for a debt relief order to clear my debts would i still be able to carry on with my business as none of my debts surround my business, they are all personal, i am trying to get through to cab, just wonderd if anyone has been in the same sitiation that may have some advice for me, thanks so much!!

I would consider making your business a ltd, that way the dro would have no effect on your business.0

oh believe me i am trying to pay it off, ive always been very good at paying off debts sometimes its not a case of wont pay but cant pay and i hate it! i got made redundant unexpectidly, there is no help from the government for people like me trying to make somthing of myself instead of living off benifits, so i see a debt relief order as a last resort.0
