Should I tell them?

My BR appointment at court is on 15th June. I'm still getting loads of calls -- that I never answer -- and letters, which I ignore.

But should I start talking to these people now. In particular, I'm hoping to get a Barclays account after I go BR. I have a Barclaycard with about six grand owing, so they're probably not going to be my greatest fan. If I'm upfront about things now, rather than ignoring them, will that be the best thing to do?

You could, there is probably not enough time for them to do anything now, its up to you really, Some might stop calling you, some might increase the preasure as their time is running out

i don't think you telling them about the br will change whether you can have a basic account post br

just be aware that normally telling them means they ignore you and up the pressure

just try and put up with it, put your phone on silent. hard i know but you haven't got long to go x

Oh, I don't mind the calls and letters. I call them "rejection junkies". I've got all their numbers programmed into my phone, so it comes up as "Evil Spam".
