PS You can only request the sample for yourself. I rang up to request a sample on behalf of someone else but the lady I spoke to wouldn't let me.

PPS I haven't sent off for this for myself, so I've no idea what the sample's like.

PPPS(!) Sorry if this offer has been posted already - I did a search and the only reference I could find was in an old 'what freebies have you received today?' thread. Consciencious though I may be, I didn't fancy searching through all 70 pages of the thread!

You call the care line and it gives you a few options. I'm fairly sure you press 1 to request a free sample.

Thanks for this. I have oredred mine. THe lady was very nice and is sending out a sample for dark hair and one for blonde hair... that way whichever one you don't want you pass on to a friend!

That's ok - glad to help. Out of interest, what info did she request from you? (I only got as far as 'name' as I said the sample wasn't for me!) It's just that I'm cautious about giving away too much over the phone.

She asked for my name, then my postcode and then my street address. She then said two samples were on their way - one for lightened hair and one for darkened, I said thank you very much and that was it!

(This is a whole lot less information than I usually give in an online form!)

Oops, I didn't think of that - loads of people ringing up when it's nearly time to go home. Poor lady. Now I feel guilty!:o
