I wish to study for a job i can work from home. Any ideas?

I wish to study at home when my toddler starts nursery in january. I want to train in an area where I will be able to work frm home due to health issues. I would appreciate any suggestions/advice on what industries to focus on, and which areas are likely to have job opportunities in the near future. Many thanks.

I was thinking about nutrition - surely the rise in obesity and general lack of knowledge in society about healthy eating is going to require advisors in this field? I have good english, internet and people skills.

Don't become a Nutritionist - just a made up name

Why not work in some capacity by helping people with the same health problems as you?.

You also must have some interests and hobbies which could eventually be furthered into some kind of home work?

Non starter. Doctors refer people to nutritionists for free.

Nutritionists require a degree and are normally employed by the NHS - I doubt very much that you could do this from home!

OP there are very few work from home jobs that bring in a decent level of income and are stable long term propositions. There are however plenty of jobs where you can work from home part time. To give an example if you wanted to be a bookkeeper based at home you still need to go to networking events to attract clients, go business to business to sell yourself and you would probably need to be able to pick up and drop off paperwork from the business. I think a lot of people forget that most work from home jobs still involve a lot of time outside the house.
