If you dial 241 on your handset they will send you a code and 241 is free to call.
They are a liitle bit crafty thought - the first time you call they will send a text that asks you to send a message but if you ignore this and call again they will send the text ticket !!!Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!0 -

Do you just dial 241 and then hang up ...
OR
do you then pick option 1 (send me a "text ticket") from the menu ?
Because if you select 1 you pay 35p for the "text ticket" when they send it to you. There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93

Which cinemas accept orange wednesday codes?.0
-
I've got an Orange simcard I got free, onto which I got £1 credit free from Orange when I registered it. I've never topped it up, and have used it at least 15 times to get cinema codes since the beginning of this year, so I always assumed that the texts to 241 and codes they send back were free???? (Only ever use it for cinema tix as I have an O2 sim that I use for all my calls/texts).
I've certainly not paid for any of them, anyway! :-)0 -

It used to be free (perhaps up until end of julyish?), now no matter whether you ring or text you seem to get charged, I had months and months out of 1 sim card, these days you only get 2 cinema visits!
Unless someone knows a way round it?0
