All Sales Final - Rock & Republic Jeans

I've made an expensive mistake that I would like to warn others of.
Recently purchased Rock & Republic jeans directly from them in USA. I registered on their website and left it a few days hoping they would send me some enticing offers. True to internet retailers form they did; 30% discount on the jeans. I was pleased as the jeans are expensive in the UK so buying from the States in Dollars was a better option, plus to get 30% discount even better.
Jeans took about 10 days to arrive but I unfortunately didn't like them, they had too much stretch in them for my liking though the jeans themselves are great. On the invoice it clearly showed how to send them back (ensuring the item was trackable) within 14 days so I did; cost £29.
5 days later R&R sent me an email saying 'Our records show that this item was purchased with a 30% off, Final Sale discount code. Since this item was purchased with a Final Sale discount code, we are unable to accept it back for a return or exchange and will need to return it back to you.'
Then literally within minutes I got the Import Tax invoice; £35.90 through the letterbox.
I've been in email dialogue with R&R but they won't shift on the refurnd and no doubt the jeans are on their way back to me now.
My only defence to R&R for a refund was the phrase All Sales Final is not used over here. I suggested it was misleading as it could mean that this is the lowest price they can go, opposed to a non returnable item. The All Sales Final was detailed on the enticing 30% discount email, in the smallest text possible.
Beware of this phrase when buying from abroad.
Anybody fancy some R&R jeans cheaper than you can buy them in the UK?!
