    I don't even know what the OP is thinking about here. Well actually I do. They never saved a deposit in the first place, took out a daft LTV mortgage and now have negative equity. If they had put in £20,000 of their own money, then they would not be so quick to write it off. They should just stay put, save and actually get some equity in their own property instead of pushing the responsibility onto the lender.

    Or is the real reason why they want a house less than £86k so they can get their hands on some cash for this wedding ? Is NR really going to let them add to a LTV in negative equity to give them cash ? I hope not.
