Copying and pasting from another link site which doesn't result in any evidence from Landrover to suggest it is free, doesn't really help.

I used to work at a land rover experience centre. If you are interested in buying a land rover, you can go to a showroom and if you express enough interest and are very lucky you may be sent on a half day's driving experience - there were four booked each day at the centre I worked at. However, primarily they were given out as freebies to good customers who had Land rovers and traded them in every few years.

However I do remember quite a few people who were there for the driving experience who didn't have one but land rover were hoping would be swayed by the offroad driving - which I have to say I did and it was awesome!
