Boots - free points??

I went to boots on Saturday and tried to do an offer which was posted on here where you were getting 200 points for buying a facemask etc. To cut a long story short I returned the items and handed over my clubcard but my 200 points were not taken off, only the normal points that would have been earned had I not handed over a bonus 200 points printout. So I gained about 184 points for free!!

Do I take it that if you use a printout bonus points coupon & then return the items you get to keep the bonus points??? Surely If you bought a few things they wouldn't even know that the bonus points related to what you were taking back?!

Same happend to me, but was not sure if it was a one off mistake or their system. Got 200 points free.

Have not done this at boots but I have with the game and they NEVER take your points back. So they have this 10 day money back offer with any game and sometimes we dont like the game so we return it get or money back but still get the points. Was an innocent mistake too ! Boots are probably the same most stores wont bother with the points thing, might be to hard for them to take the points off. But its a gamble !

Not saying that they would take your points back but......... I must have gone to a 'nit picker' when I took something back to boots. I didn't have my card on me at the time of purchase so asked for it to be validated.... when I returned the item she said whilst looking at my reciept " okay, no points to claim back" well I kept my mouth shut and didn't say the receipt had been validated so I would be getting points!!
She must be really picky, never happened before
