FTB Mortgage advice

Hi,

Looking to move back to the UK in the summer and will be looking for a FTB mortgage. Only have a 10,000 deposit and looking for around 160,000 mortgage.

I will also be receiving a 60,000 payment next year which I want to use against the mortgage.

Any help or ideas on the best way forward?

    Have you maintained a UK credit history?

    £10k on £160k will limit choices a lot(possibly down to none)

    What salary will you be on, is it a new employer?

    One option is to wait till the £60k is available this will give a lot more options if the salary stacks up.

    Rent until you get the £60k through.

    Then review the situation.

    wait until you get the 60k. No mortgages available for such a small deposit.
