Boots - get free points??

I don't have an issue with returning faulty cosmetics, creams, lotions and potions but I really don't like the idea of buying items like these that someone has had at home and simply changed their mind. Lets face it often these items do not have seals and you would not know if it had been tampered with.

I am really surprised that Boots would let someone return a skincare product. Also it is a bit low I think to return something with the sole purpose of retaining bonus points. You either need a skincare product or not IMHO.

Don't think this is in the true spirit of MSE.

I agree with busymum.Infact boot's policy is that they dont exchange cosmetics and lotion/potions etc but people get round this.Also whenb i worked for boots our manager would deduct the value of bonus points off the returned item AND if a customer does this repeatedly head office HAVE taken the card back.We use to be informed of certain customers who collected bonus points this way.
I'm all for getting a bargain and i've enjoyed my td and gym ball but remember Big Brother is watching us.
