HELP!!! Need to sort out party food!!!!

I booked my son a party at Plymouth Argyle football club, and they were going to be providing the food, as well as coaching and a tour of the stadium. Trouble is, i have had to change the date and time, because we wouldnt be able to get all the boys over to the stadium from school on time and as we are now having it at the weekend, the chefs dont work, so they are refunding me some of the money, and i have to provide the buffet myself!!
So, im now looking for ideas, i need things that are quick and easy to make the night before, and that are easy to transport. There will be 15 9/10 year old boys so im guessing nothing to fancy!!!!
Thanks for any ideas.
Not this weekend, by the way, its in September!!!

Cold pizza slices, open sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps, cold chicken dippers and dips.
There are loads of quick things and as you said 9/10 year old boys are not fussy, not when there is anything to do with footy about!

How about making up some kids meal boxes, don't know where you can buy the bags from now, hopefully someone else will tho!
Just fill them up with a sandwich, some crisps or hoola hoops, a dairylea or babybel, a home made cookie and of course some birthday cake. Add some stickers and its a partybag as well. Very easy to transport. We did this for a swimming party for my dd some years ago.Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Hotdogs or burgers - sausages stay warm in foil for a while and you can just add them to the buns with ketchup there - or frankfurters heated in the liquid and then transferred to a wide necked flask.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Cheese footballs of course!
And you could decorate the trays of sandwiches with little home-made corner flags. Make a cake in the shape of a ref's whistle and arrange the buffet on a green (disposable if poss) tablecloth, with miniature goalposts at each end!I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

why not do a KFC run a couple of the large bucket meals I am sure would work out cheaper than making all the sandwiches yourself, if you consider your time and the expense of going to the supermarket to buy the items0

We did the run to mcd`s once for a party, never again, they looked at us gone out when we asked for 20 h meals! And it took them ages to get em all ready!Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0

How about the wee tins of Party hotdogs, they are usually on BOGOF in Tesco.
Lidls do great fun size sweeties for party bags, their own make of mars, snickers, haribo, bounty. And cartons of juice too.
Enjoy the party. If you obey all the rules...you miss all the fun!! Katherine Hepburn0 -
BBQ Drumsticks
32 Chicken Drumsticks (I think you can buy these frozen pretty cheaply)
6 dsp BBQ sauce
4 dsp cider/white wine Vinegar
4 dsp Honey
4 dsp Brown Sugar
2 tsp mustard / 1 tsp mustard powder
8 dried apricots
Juice of 2 lemons
Add the liquids to a blender and then the dry stuff. Blend for 30 seconds until smooth.
Marinate the drumsticks in the sauce overnight in the fridge. They should be defrosted by morning.
Place the chicken pieces on a baking tray and cook in a hot oven (190°C / Gas 5) for approximately 25-30 minutes. They should b yummy cold!
I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...

And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!0 -
Having carefully carried home uneaten food after kids' bday parties I would suggest - lots of crisps, jam sandwiches, biscuits and cakes, if you want to add something a bit healtheer try grapes- these are the things my son and his friends will always devour0
