Hello
My fixed rate is about to end and so i am going to go to the bank to see what deals they have.
My partner is currently in full time employment but also has his own company that he has worked for about a year in the last 3 years in between other jobs. He has 2 years of accounts but in each of those years worked for his company for about 6 months in each.
He is looking to give up his employment and work full time in his own business.
What are the chances that they will accept us for a remortgage?
What do i tell them about his employment? My partner says he isnt self employed (i'm not sure) as he is employed through the company he runs. He is a director. Will they class him as self employed?
My wage £25k
Partners when working for his company £15000 plus any dividends
Mortgage £60k over 15 years
Any advice would be great

You could easily achieve it using just your wage (you could still have your partner on the mortgage though).
Save yourself a visit to the bank by looking on their website. But don't just look at one lender though obviously0
