I wana buy a Cheap Netbook.

Hi there.

I'm after buying a Cheap Netbook. All I need it for is MSN messenger (So windows is needed) and surfing the web (via a wireless network).

I have seen some of Ebay for around the £70 mark, liek this one;

Be wary of those 'netbooks' on eBay - I wouldn't even call them that, they are more like a gimmick for kids. Just because it saws Windows (it is Windows CE) operating system does not mean it will let you install programs like a normal Windows computer, so I would be very surprised if you got MSN working on there. You will most likely not be able to play flash files on there either via webpages like Youtube etc (but it might have a basic flash program for manually downloaded files).

A proper netbook will cost you about £200+ plus.

Hi i agree the cheaper ones are not great, my friend has one for her son and basic is deff the word i think it would struggle with what you want to do.
I have a Samsung NC10 and love it, it was £230 off the top of my head with some freebies from Staples. Does everything really well.
