Now I'm NOT talking about everyone selling vouchers on eBay but it's really annoying that some of them are obviously vouchers that were intended to be put through people's doors with the free local papers... I never got the Harpic, Uncle Ben's or Dolmio vouchers but eBAy's full of them...

I agree, I never get them either, my vouchers are sent for.
Can you blame a paper boy on very little money tho from making sum extra...must be very tempting!!

You could always ring the area distributor and ask why they werent included?

  • Hi Tiff - spidystrider, Would you recommend buying money off vouchers from ebay? Are there certain vouchers that you should only buy? Have you had any problems with the vouchers once they have arrived? Im rather cautious of using ebay again since I was ripped off a while ago, but I am tempted by these vouchers being sold and might get back to using ebay.

Just keep looking round and try and get some that don't go for too much money (also look at the sellers feedback!!), not worth paying more than half their value.

p.s. don't buy newspaper ones as they go quite high because the newsagents buy them and send them in for full value, lol!! so they can afford to go quite high!!

Yes, always check sellers feedback, if there are several recent negatives or comments then dont bother with that seller.

I havent yet received the vouchers I've paid for, it was just a few days ago. I wont even pay half the value, but thats my choice. The vouchers I bought are still available on BIN and yet other auctions for the same item are currently more than I paid. Nowt as queer as folk!

Tiff - like everything else, you could take it to the extremes, but I don't believe in pushing my luck. I am trying to cut back on my spending ( attempting to get it down from about £75 a week to £65 at the most ). If I have enough vouchers, I will use about £15 worth over the week. I have heard plenty of people getting their shopping for pennies but I think the supermarkets will get fed up with this and that's when you get problems with them accepting your vouchers. I don't want to spoil it for myself or anyone else.

  • David, I agree with everyone else that you should check out the feedback of the seller. If they have been selling for a while and they have a high postitive feedback, you should be fine. Some vouchers go for crazy money e.g. £6 worth of Pampers going for £5.50! I just don't see the point in that. Tiff has already mentioned getting £40 worth of vouchers for £10, which is a great buy. I recently bought £30 worth for £14.53 which I was delighted with, as far as I am concerned I have just doubled my money. I tend to only go for vouchers that are worth £1 or over, as you don't have to hand over tons of vouchers to make a decent saving. I will definitely buy more when needed and would stick to well known manufacturers vouchers. I also send for any I can ( there are a few that you can get quite regular, that come along with freebies ). I also send out compliments now and again to different companies in hope that they will send me a voucher.
