Excellent MoneySaving mortgage broker

Hope this is the most appropriate board...just a quick note to extol the virtues of 'keeping it in the family' and using MoneySavers' professional skills where possible.
After reading much of his sage advice on this board, I asked MoneySaver AndrewSmith (privately) to see if he could find me a great fixed rate mortgage deal as mine was about to expire. And he has. In the most friendly, direct and painless way.
Not only did he find me a great rate, he also warned me that the lender was about to raise its rates. To beat this, he drove my application form down to the lender's sales centre to personally hand it over the day before the new rates went up. Now that's what I call MoneySaving!
This isn't a referral, as I get nothing from Andy for recommending him and he hasn't asked me to do this. He's simply earned this praise. To get more info about what he does and how he gets paid, go to his website https://www.andrewsmithmortgages.co.uk.
As you can see from the number of times he's been thanked for his posts, he hands out alot of great free advice. This is a reminder to all users that there are a lot of great professionals here - do some background research first and use them!

I have to say that I am very pleased to receive such an accolade from you Mark and would like to thank you for it.
A note to the forum moderators, as indicated by the poster I have not asked for this recommendation to be posted.
I have to say that a service works at it's best when the lines of communication and understanding operate both ways which, in this case, were seamless.
Many many thanks again, and fingers crossed for a smooth transition to completion for you.
